The inception of the Innovation Club was in the yesteryear . Since then it serves as a space for students who are passionate about creative thinking, innovative ideas and problem-solving. It encourages idea generation and the development of innovative solutions. Students are engaged in brainstorming sessions, workshops, expertise talks and projects to explore new concepts and technologies, promoting a culture of continuous learning and experimentation. The scenario created for the students motivates them to thinks differently and take a new dimension in their way of thinking. The club may encompass various fields, encouraging a multidisciplinary approach to innovation. The club also encourages the students to be a part of YIP programme run under K DISC for idea submission drive.

Founded on July 3, 2023 our club is a proof that the appealing qualities of music and movies and it's spell can bring people together. More than just a club; it is a space for vibrant people who love music and movies. Our goal is straightforward yet effective: to foster an environment that is friendly and inclusive for enthusiasts, promoting and sharing of ideas and expanding comprehension.

Creating an entrepreneurial atmosphere is the mission of the Entrepreneurship Development Club. Our main goals are to foster entrepreneurial abilities in young people, increase understanding of the industrial scene in the state, and impart fundamental entrepreneurial qualities. We seek to provide our members with the attitudes, values, and abilities necessary for success in the fast-paced world of entrepreneurship through a variety of projects and programs. We want to link our members with the worldwide network of prosperous entrepreneurs by developing a platform that cuts beyond national borders. Our ultimate objective is to utilize the state's boundless natural resources and enormous human resource which have the potential to generate income and provide job opportunities, thereby promoting the region's overall economic growth.

Scholarship Cell & HOPE
JDT Islam College of Arts & Science has been actively involved in promoting education by offering various scholarships to deserving students. National Scholarships, E-grants for Fisheries and E-grants for SC/ST are provided here. Gathering information related to the application process for various sponsored scholarship schemes, informing students about procedures and deadlines, and maintaining records of scholarships applied by students across different categories, including the maintenance of the details of the students with fee concession are the main activities for this cell. The HOPE project at our college is a noble initiative designed to uplift underprivileged and orphaned students in their academic pursuits. This program offers free education to financially disadvantaged students, accompanied by dedicated monitoring and mentoring of the students to ensure their academic success and overall development. The main aim of this project is to provide these students with opportunities for a better future through accessible and supportive education.

Anti-ragging Committee
The Anti-Ragging Committee is crucial for maintaining a safe and respectful environment for the students. The committee includes faculty members, administrative staff and student representatives. It works to prevent and address any incidents of ragging, ensuring a positive atmosphere for all students. The Anti-Ragging Committee is responsible for enforcing anti-ragging policies, organizing awareness programs, and promptly addressing any complaints related to ragging. Students can approach this committee to report incidents confidentially. It plays a vital role in fostering a healthy and inclusive campus culture by promoting zero tolerance for ragging activities.
Minority (SC/ST) and OBC cell
A Minority (SC/ST) and OBC cell refers to a unit within the educational institution that focuses on addressing the needs and concerns of individuals from minority communities and OBCs. This cell may work towards promoting inclusivity, providing support, and ensuring equal opportunities for these groups. In educational institutions, the Minority (SC/ST) and OBC cell often plays a crucial role in implementing policies related to reservations, scholarships, and affirmative action for students belonging to minority communities and OBCs. It may also engage in outreach programs, awareness campaigns, and support services to create an inclusive and diverse environment. Additionally, this cell may serve as a liaison between the institution and government authorities to ensure the effective implementation of relevant policies
SWAYAM - NPTEL Chapter
JDT Islam College of Arts and Science is a local chapter of National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL), an IIT project funded by the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD) that provides online courses in various disciplines. SWAYAM is co ordinated by NPTEL. All courses offered by NPTEL are through SWAYAM. Students and teachers can have free access to the materials provided. Different courses are open to access to teachers and students using SWAYAM or NPTEL and also can avail certain privilege for local chapter candidates.
